UV lacquers from Remmers Industrielacke can be cured in fractions of a second by radiating with ultra-violet (UV) light.
UV lacquers can be formulated with a solid content of up to 100 % and are therefore a class of lacquers that is extremely low in VOCs.
The conventional methods for applying UV lacquers in practice are roller coating, spraying/curtaincoating as well as automatic vacuum procedures. Lacquers with a solid content of 100% are used for roller coating and for automatic vacuum application; for spraying and curtain coating, solvent based as well as water based UV lacquers are mainly used.
The Remmers Industrielacke line of products contains a number of products for the above named application methods.
